Teaching Moving Image Arts
SQA have ruled out any developments in moving image NQs in the near future. Scottish Screen and AMES wish to investigate whether Scottish schools and colleges would be willing to offer the Northern Ireland CCEA (Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment) in Moving Image Arts AS level (1 year) and A2 level (2 years). Qualification details can be found at www.ccea.org.uk/movingimagearts.
Interested teachers and lecturers are invited to a free meeting at Filmhouse, 88 Lothian Road, Edinburgh, EH3 9BZ on Saturday 6 December 2008 from 1030-1230.
Email AMES convener Rick Instrell (info@rickinstrell.co.uk) if you would like to attend this meeting or if you would like to be kept abreast of developments. Download flyer.
